The solution enables Android or iOS phones to securely communicate with readers using a close-range “Tap” mode, or from a distance with HID Global’s patented “Twist and Go” mode. Active feedback including notifications, vibration and sound enhances the user experience when opening doors.

Powered by Seos® technology, HID Mobile Access provides superior identity management and delivers the most capable mobile solution available today. Mobile access is the use of a mobile device (e.g., smartphone, tablet or wearable) to gain access to secured doors, gates, networks, services and more. Our solutions allow organizations to meet the growing demands of a mobile-first world.

HID Mobile Access merges security with convenience by enabling a smartphone and other mobile devices to securely open a door or gate.

HID Origo®, HID Global’s physical access control cloud platform makes managing access control easy, creating a number of operational efficiencies, including the ability to centrally manage Mobile IDs. Simply send invitations and provision or revoke Mobile IDs over-the-air. No physical encoding, printing or returns are necessary — secure identities are managed wirelessly through the phone.

Mobile ID and Mobile Credential solutions now make it possible to integrate organizational credentials directly into Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, turning a smartphone or smartwatch into the new employee badge. Users can securely and seamlessly access doors, gates, elevators, workstations, and printers with a simple tap, without the need to open a dedicated app. Built on advanced security technologies, the solution enables remote issuance and centralized management of access permissions, while delivering a modern user experience, enhanced privacy, and maximum convenience for employees, visitors, residents, and organizations embracing digital transformation.
